This workshop discusses the elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and explains each element in terms of psychological flexibility.
The aim of the workshop is for attendees to gain a greater understanding of how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can enhance the participant’s personal and professional life. This workshop has relevance for health practitioners, people working within the health industry and people who are interested in self discovery and gaining greater awareness and understanding self and others.

Presented by Maurice Harvey-Hall
Maurice Harvey-Hall is a practicing Mental Health Nurse with a Masters in Mental Health Nursing, certificates in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and various psychotherapies, and is also a certified life coach. Maurice has studied Eastern philosophy in particular Buddhism and Taoism, and has integrated these principles into western psychological therapies. He has a passion for mindfulness based therapies and is an experienced teacher in this field and promotes the elements of ACT whilst working with people in coaching and counselling sessions.
This workshop/training attracts CPD points that the attendee can self-allocate. Please refer to individual professional bodies for guidance on self-allocation of CPD activities.
